On Jan 27, KFA held a delegate meeting at the Shinmun-ro Soccer Center in Seoul and announced the new executive branch by appointing a total of 22 executives and two auditors, including six vice-chairmen, five subcommittees and 11 board members. The 54th executive branch consists of 29 directors (including the chairman) and two auditors. During the meeting, the selection of the remaining seven executives was delegated to Chung Mong Gyu. With this personnel reshuffle, a large number of female executives were slated, making headlines. Hong Eun Ha, a professor at Ewha Womans University, was appointed as the first female vice-chairman of KFA, while announcer Shin Ah Young and Kim Jin Hee, the match commissioner who scored the first World Cup goal in the history of Korean womenŌĆÖs soccer, were appointed as executive directors. Regarding the new executive branch, Chung shared, ŌĆ£Except for the subcommittee chairman that requires policy continuity, more than 60% of the board members were newly organized.
