According to Bloomberg, these are the 6 criteria they use to rank the worldŌĆÖs most influential pop stars: ŌĆ£Trailing three-month gross revenues from live shows,ŌĆØ ŌĆ£Trailing 30-day ticket sales for live shows,ŌĆØ ŌĆ£Trailing four-week album sales,ŌĆØ ŌĆ£Trailing four-week digital song streams,ŌĆØ ŌĆ£Trailing 30-day total interactions on InstagramŌĆØ and ŌĆ£Trailing four-week YouTube views.ŌĆØ Bloomberg introduces BLACKPINK as ŌĆ£the biggest music act in the worldŌĆØ and wrote, ŌĆ£Alongside the boy group BTS, Blackpink has achieved a level of global popularity unprecedented in the history of music.ŌĆØ They also listed the groupŌĆÖs achievements, saying, ŌĆ£Blackpink has been the most popular act on YouTube for the past couple of months, generating more than 1 billion views in October alone. The group was also the second most popular act on Spotify. While their album failed to debut at #1 in the U.S., it was still one of the 10 best-sellers in the country for the month.ŌĆØ Bloomberg also reported that BLACKPINKŌĆÖs ability to speak English, Thai, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese was one of the keys to their global popularity.
